A Melodic Extravaganza of Music, Games, fun activities and Culinary Delights at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala

 

 

Multani Mal Modi College today celebrated ‘Modi Carnival’ to celebrate the vibrant colors of season and student centric activities. The campus was decorated to reflect up the festive vibe. During the carnival, apart from the host of exciting activities such as games, online competitions the participants also had the opportunity to enjoy various student-organized stalls displaying delectable dishes, clothing, and artwork. Also, to make the event memorable, the college arranged selfie points, attractive photo booths, clothing market, dance, and music. The efforts to set the lively ambience of the campus came to make students feel at home. The main attraction of the function was the performance of Modi College alumni famous Punjabi Singer Jaswant Khanewal, he made all the students to dance on his tunes.

The carnival was inaugurated by college Principal Dr. Neeraj Goyal. He appreciated the efforts and hard work of the staff and students and said that it is important to participate in such events, competitions and activities for the personal and professional growth and success.

During the carnival fun filled games such as Crazy Bundles, The Secret Chamber, Khel-khazana, Play Land, Chaapak, Pic and drop atc were held in which students participated with much enthusiasm. The Department of Fashion Technology and the Department of Food and Nutrition Put special staffs to display their designs, art, craft and health-conscious foods.

The students of Music Department of the college presented shabads, geet-ghazals, folksongs and many other tunes of young generations.

The stage was conducted by Dr. Rupinder Singh Dhillon from Punjabi Department during the event.

 

 

 

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਬਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੇ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ‘ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ’ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇੰਨਡੋਰ ਖੇਡਾਂ, ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਸਟਾਲਾਂ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਆਦੀ ਪਕਵਾਨਾਂ, ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਹੱਥੀ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਾਤਮਿਕ ਆਈਟਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਸੈਲਫੀ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ, ਆਕਰਸ਼ਕ ਫੋਟੋ ਬੂਥ, ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਕੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ , ਡਾਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੈਂਪਸ ਦੇ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਤੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਮਾਨਣ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ। ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜਸਵੰਤ ਖਾਨੇਵਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਜੁਗਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੱਚਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ, ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਰ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਹੋਇਆ।

ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕ੍ਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੰਡਲਜ਼, ਦੀ ਸੀਕਰੇਟ ਚੈਂਬਰ, ਖੇਲ-ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ, ਪਲੇ ਲੈਂਡ, ਛਪਾਕ, ਪਿੱਕ ਐੱਡ ਡਰਾਪ , ਏ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਕ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਫੂਡ ਐਂਡ ਨਿਊਟ੍ਰੀਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨਾਂ, ਕਲਾ, ਸ਼ਿਲਪਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸ਼ਟਿਕ ਭੋਜਨ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਟਾਲ ਲਗਾਏ।

ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਮਨਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ, ਗੀਤ-ਗਜ਼ਲਾਂ, ਲੋਕ-ਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਗੀਤਕ ਵੰਗਨੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ.

ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੇਜ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਡਾ: ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨੀਵਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਅਭੁੱਲ ਛਾਪ ਛੱਡੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
